The Birmingham Braves are a new organization established in the fall of 2013 searching for all of Birmingham and surrounding area's top young athletes. Although we know the cost of travel baseball is significant, we do not want it to be the reason a kid can't grow in this game. We offer high quality, professional instruction for a fraction of the cost. We believe that if a kid has an ultimate goal of playing at the next level, they should have every right to pursue it. We like to hold our standards as high as they will go, but if your young player wants to be good enough to make their middle school or high school team, then that is what we want them to be able to do. If they want to take it to high school, college and beyond, that's what we want them to do. Fortunately our coaching staff has been able to play at a high level, and we all feel that with a little instruction on different approaches to the game, we can achieve that ultimate goal for your player. We structure practices based on a college level scale, with an emphasis on instruction. We believe in a high energy, no standing around, competitive practice. The players who work hard when the coaches aren't looking are the players who will succeed this game. We hold tryouts in the fall for both the spring and fall teams. If for some reason we open a spot in the spring, we tryout on individual basis or small groups. For more information on team availability, and pricing contact us at or on Facebook and Twitter @ BhamBraves.

Although we try to work extremely hard in season to accomplish the tasks at hand to make our program successful, we offer professional one on one instruction on Tuesday and Thursday nights. For players within the organization, these prices are significantly less that average cost. For players interested in our organization, you can receive a discounted rate for liking us on Twitter and Facebook. During the offseason, we typically schedule Monday - Thursday. Contact us today for more information on pricing and availability.
"Every day is a new opportunity. You can build on yesterday's success or put it's failures behind and start over again. That's the way life is, with a new game every day, and that's the way baseball is."

"I became a good pitcher when I stopped trying to make them miss the ball and started trying to make them hit it."
